LOOKING FOR A NEW TEAM MEMBER

We are seeking a special person to join our fabulous team as an Event Planner for the GRRC and Goodwood Aero Club (GAC).

The Event Planner will work closely alongside the Club Secretary and will be responsible for the planning and successful execution of many events held exclusively for Members of the GRRC and GAC. The types of events the applicants would be responsible for include track days, overseas tours, competitive motorsport events, parties at Goodwood House, as well as aviation fly outs and talks. You will also be required to assist with planning some aspects of the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Revival Meeting.

The successful candidate will have an interest in motor sport and aviation and have experience of working in the Events industry. The applicant will be used to working on their own initiative and be a creative thinker. They will work well under pressure and feel confident when dealing with conflicting priorities. Attention to detail and a professional but friendly approach is a must. Strong planning, organisation, budgeting and communication skills are essential, as is a good working knowledge of MS Office packages. The role is both operational and administrative and requires flexibility in working hours, especially during the Event season.
