Garmin 1000 course

The Garmin 1000 course is designed for pilots who would like to hire our aircraft but have had no certified training on EFIS (Electronic Flight Instrument System) equipped aircraft. Our fleet of five Cessnas are all equipped with the most up-to-date Garmin 1000 EFIS, thus it is essential for us to see evidence of this, or conduct formal training on the G1000, before we can grant aircraft hire. 

The course will provide you with all of the basic operating knowledge and certification needed to pilot the aircraft safely. We will teach you about the Primary Flight Display (PFD) and the Multifunction Display (MFD), the two screens that display the flight instruments and the navigation systems. 

These aircraft have proved themselves as stable training platforms and also excellent tourers. Thanks to the added comfort and navigation aids, these aircraft make longer journeys fun for passengers and more relaxed for the pilot.
