Fly-out to Duxford airshow

Keep your fingers crossed for dry weather this year as we have again scheduled a fly-out to the extremely popular annual Flying Legends Air Show at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford. One of Europe’s premier aviation museums, Duxford also boasts a fine collection of tanks, military vehicles and naval exhibits. This famous heritage site began as an airfield in the First World War and also played a vital role in the Second World War, firstly as an RAF fighter station and later as an American fighter base. More recently, the airfield has hosted the annual Flying Legends weekend, which is considered by many to be the premier piston fighter air show in Europe. You will witness upwards of 30 piston fighters being flown by some of the world’s best pilots in mass formation, assaulting the skies.
