TO SHOW, OR JUST TO GO?
Everyone can participate in the Breakfast Club, whether or not they have a special car or bike to show. Remember, though, only vehicles with passes are allowed through the Motor Circuit main gates.
To get a pass you must pre-register. And to be eligible to pre-register you must have a vehicle that fits the Breakfast Club theme. It doesn’t have to be a world-beater – just relevant. Pre-registering is easy and costs nothing.
If you don’t pre-register then there is plenty of free public parking available adjacent to the Motor Circuit. Please bear in mind however that this parking is on grass and may be affected by wet weather.
PRE-REGISTERING – HOW TO DO IT
If you have a car that fits one of the Breakfast Club themes, you can let us know about it in advance by pre-registering. You may be eligible for a pass that gives you a parking place within the Motor Circuit on the day.
Pre-registering can only be done online. It is easy and costs nothing. To pre-register login to your myGoodwood account and complete the registration form for Breakfast Club. If you have not yet already done it, you can add your car to your myGoodwood account cars page, and select the car from the list.
There are two types of pass: one for a limited number of ‘star cars’ that park on the start-finish straight (The Grid), and one for parking elsewhere within the Motor Circuit.
If your car is not selected, you are still very welcome to attend the Breakfast Club, but you will need to park in the Public Car Park areas adjacent to the Circuit.
The star cars for each Breakfast Club are chosen by Goodwood on the basis of relevance to the theme, history/condition - and in order to represent as much variety as possible. Passes are not transferable and no discussion about passes is ever entered into.
The Motor Circuit pass enables parking elsewhere within the Motor Circuit grounds. This could be in the paddocks, the circuit car parks or on the circuit itself, and is entirely at the discretion of the marshals. This pass does not mean the holder can park on the start-finish straight.
After pre-registering, an email notification will confirm the sort of pass you have been given. Please note this notification may arrive just a few days before the event. A vehicle pass (relevant to the themed vehicle only) can then be downloaded and printed for display in the vehicle windscreen when approaching Goodwood.
