When did you join Goodwood?
What were you doing before joining Goodwood?
I was a Sales Representative for a local Builders Merchants in Bognor; I worked there for a little over 10 years.
How did you get to where you are today?
During the period I was working at Covers, I also worked as a casual employee for the Goodwood Events as a Helicopter Marshall. This gave me a great deal of knowledge about the Events and Estate and I was successful in my application for full time employment in March 2011.
What does your job entail?
My main job role entails the Planning and Sales of Exhibition Stands at our headline events. I work on the design and procurement of client’s stands, commercial sales as well as the physical build on site. I also look after the P & L for the department ensuring that we achieve our PBT budget over the financial year.
Where are you based on the Estate?
I am based up at the Racecourse in the Event Sales Team Office behind the Client Services department.
What has been the best thing about your Goodwood experience so far?
A passenger ride with Tim Mullen; in a Mclaren MP4 – 12C.
What are your hobbies?
Kayaking, Fishing, Running, Football, Cricket, Cooking and Cycling.
Tell us something most people don’t know about you?
Although I have only been at Goodwood in my current capacity, for a little under three years. I have worked at 14 Festival of Speed and Revival Events.
If you were to be treated, what would your favourite treat be?
All expenses paid holiday for two, location and duration of my choice.
