We are looking to recruit a Head Chef to develop the Kennels dining experience to become ‘the place to eat in West Sussex.’ You will be responsible for delivering a consistent food product that exceeds the expectations of our customers. In order to do this, you will be required to control the resources, manage the processes and cultivate the understanding of quality food at The Kennels.
You will assist with developing a Kennels food strategy by creating innovative ways of providing a Food service to improve quality, sales performance and margins without compromising on standards and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a real passion, culinary knowledge and general interest in food with the ability to proactively engage with local producers and our Farm Manager in order to plan produce requirements.
The successful candidate will have had experience of working at a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef level within a quality establishment. You will also have had experience of successfully managing and leading a team along with managing food costs and margins.
