Full Time - 40 hours per week

We’re lucky to be able to offer a fantastic range of venues in which to entertain. From the magnificence of Goodwood House, long envied for its lavish hospitality, to a luxurious 91 bedroom hotel at the heart of the Estate, we can stage private or corporate events with ease. There is also a Grade I listed sporting clubhouse, The Kennels and the very stylish Jackie Stewart Pavilion at our famous Motor Circuit.
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join the Host Team for the front office operations team at The Goodwood Hotel. You will have responsibility for meeting and greeting our guests and providing excellent customer service. You will also be responsible for maintaining the operational standards of the Front Office on a daily basis.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience working in a hospitality or service industry with previous experience in a customer facing role. You must be confident, numerate and have well developed customer service and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to demonstrate initiative are fundamental. Knowledge of a Front Office systems and experience in call handling is desirable.
The hours of work vary according to the Hotels operation, these hours include early mornings, late evenings, weekends and bank holidays therefore applicants must have the ability to work flexibly.
Due to the rural location of the Goodwood Estate, own or reliable transport is essential.
