Today, we offer a comprehensive range of superb venues to visit or to privately hire, including a luxurious 91 bedroom hotel, glorious Regency house replete with works of art, two superlative golf courses and a relaxed sporting members’ clubhouse, The Kennels.
We strive to give everyone who visits Goodwood a brilliant and unique experience and we are looking for a Restaurant Manager who can make that real for all of our guests and members at the Hotel Bar and Grill. The 80 cover brasserie style restaurant offers a menu that uses fresh local produce, much of which is grown and reared on the estate, and is busy through the day and the evening with hotel guests, health club members, sporting members and visitors.
You will be a customer-focused and capable restaurant manager, ideally with experience within a hotel environment and, essentially, with a track record of running a good quality large and busy restaurant. In addition to being a great host, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant and bar maximising revenue whilst maintaining our high standards are always met, and providing leadership to our talented and passionate front of house team.
You’ll have the support and guidance you need to do a great job, and an exceptional benefits package. You’ll need to be comfortable with working varied hours including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Due to the rural location of the Goodwood Estate, own or reliable transport is essential
