Exhibiting at aviation exhibition
The idea to stage an Aviation Exhibition as part of the annual Festival of Speed has been largely driven by customer demand. Goodwood has undertaken extensive research at previous Festivals, with the results confirming that a large proportion of those attending the event either have a private pilot’s licence, hire charter aircraft or have a very strong interest in aviation. The Festival of Speed welcomed over 180,000 visitors over the four day event in 2011 and provides a superb opportunity for the aviation industry to gain real exposure to a vast, high net worth audience.
For the inaugural Goodwood Aviation Exhibition in 2010 more than half a dozen companies exhibited; all reporting strong interest and direct sales as a result of being at Goodwood. The number of exhibitors doubled in 2011 and the 2012 Aviation Exhibition is set to be bigger still.
