Goodwood Action Sports (GAS) made its first appearance at FoS in 2011, now in its second year the arena will feature a new layout and design set to challenge the riders and push their two wheeled skills to the limit.
Action Sports Legends Appearing in 2012:
The Goodwood Action Sports Arena kicks, flips and jumps back in to life in 2012 as the super young stars of tomorrow build on what could only be described as a high powered, throttle twisting show that stopped the Goodwood Festival of Speed in its tracks.
With a mix of World Champions and action sports legends performing what could only be described as purely insane mid-air tricks, in 2011 the GAS Arena truly made its mark and stamped its claim as the best show entertainment zone the UK has ever produced.
So, as we move in to 2012 we’re set to ramp up the arena and deliver Action Sports on yet another level. The Arena is bigger in every sense of the imagination from bigger, longer and faster BMX dirt hits to the super difficult Trials head to head sections that will now incorporate the Mountain Bike Trials course. Freestyle Motocross now explodes in to all four corners of the arena floor as up to five different take off and landings twist in and out of BMX dirt, BMX flat land, Trials and Mountain Bike.
And if that wasn’t enough, competition is the name of the game this year. Starting 2012 the official GAS Arena will become a competition breeding ground for UK action sports talent as on each day BMX, FMX & Trials get to throw down their handlebars, put the show to one side and battle it out for GAS medal honours!
