The 2011 Moving Motor Show will be an historic event as this year Nissan showcase the 100% electric Nissan LEAF.
Voted Car of the Year 2011 and most recently, 2011 World Car of the Year, the LEAF has been acknowledged by leading motoring journalists as a breakthrough for electric vehicles and is the first EV to match conventional cars in many ways.
The LEAF runs on 100% electricity and has no engine oil, no petrol tank, no gearbox and no exhaust pipe. It delivers super-smooth, super-quiet acceleration, can be fully charged for little more than £1 and can travel up to 109 miles before its next charge.
This show is the ideal opportunity for guests to see the LEAF in the flesh and better still, take it for a test drive.
On Thursday 10th June, all pre-registered Moving Motor Show guests will be able to test drive the LEAF and experience the car everyone’s talking about. This is a one-day only opportunity so test drives will be limited.
After Thursday, guests will be able to pop along to Nissan’s LEAF Zone to see the car and learn more about how Nissan’s innovative and pioneering technology is changing the future of driving.
