2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed visitors are being offered a glimpse into the future in the FoS-Tech pavilion. Here you will find a variety of concept cars and innovations, from plug-in hybrids to hydrogen-fuelled vehicles via clean fuels and cutaway models which offer an insight into the technology of tomorrow.
Ford is using the Festival of Speed to showcase its exciting Evos concept. This striking fastback design features two sets of gullwing doors and it is propelled by a hybrid drivetrain comprising a two-litre petrol engine assisted by an electric motor.
Other far-reaching exhibits include Tata Motors’ Megapixel range-extending hybrid, the Riversimple Network Electric hydrogen city car and the Opel RAK-e electric-powered tandem two-seater, which runs on a specially constructed track around the FoS-Tech domes.
