Jarno Trulli

Lotus racing driver and former Monaco Grand Prix winner Jarno Trulli spoke of his first half a season with the squad during a press conference on Saturday morning. “To be honest, I’m enjoying it. [The season so far] has exceeded our expectations,” said the veteran Italian. “The team is doing a great job. The car is improving; the team is getting better and bigger… I remember Lotus as being a black and gold car more than yellow and green but I know of the [marque’s] history. Well, I do need to look at books! This is a beautiful day and kind of crazy as there are so many people. There are so many drivers here, too. I was having breakfast and [Nextel Cup superstar] Michael Waltrip sat next to me. He let me drive his NASCAR racer a few months ago! I was wondering what he was doing here but then I thought ‘It’s Goodwood!’”
