The 2012 Moving Motor Show Draws to a Close
The third running of the Moving Motor Show at Goodwood has been an enormous success, with a record attendance enjoying Britain’s best opportunity to get close to exciting new production cars. Run in association with Auto Trader, it saw several significant new models make their UK debuts.
As before, the format allowed some lucky visitors to experience the thrill of driving cars up the famous Hill at Goodwood – which will be home to the Festival of Speed this weekend – with cars pounding up the course throughout the day. And, after some early clouds, the weather turned glorious, with the crowds enjoying a beautiful summer’s afternoon.
Now in its third year, the Moving Motor Show has established itself as the country’s leading destination for those seeking a sneak preview of new models, with a record number of new cars making their British debuts here. These included the new Mercedes A-Class, the BMW M6 and M135i, the Audi RS4, the Ford Focus ST and the Bentley Continental V8.
Visitors to the Festival of Speed will be able to see the star cars of the Moving Motor Show throughout the weekend, both in the Moving Motor Show pavilion and also on the stands of individual manufacturers.
