Three-time Formula One World Champion Sir Jackie Stewart took to the Goodwood hillclimb course on Saturday morning aboard the mighty Mercedes-Benz 300SLR ‘Uhlenhaut Coupé ‘. The racing knight was all smiles after his run, saying: “It’s an amazing car. They only made two and I daren’t even think of the car’s value. It’s actually quite easy to drive; I have experience of the regular 300SL but this is something else entirely. The brakes aren’t brilliant, though, so I will take it easy to the way down the hill.”
