Examples of three six-wheeled Formula One cars have been brought together for the first time ever this weekend at the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed. In addition to a Tyrrell P34 and Williams FW08B on static display, the remarkable ’76 March 2-4-0 has been wowing the crowds on the hills. Though never raced in period, this Robin Herd-designed machine was hillclimbed with some success by Roy Lane in 1979. It’s been flying this year in the hands of Jeremy Smith.
