Sunday morning’s action got off to a flier with the ever-popular Supercar Run, the very latest high-performance machinery from around the globe from Alpina to Zonda taking to the famous hillclimb course. And if proof were needed that the British motor industry is alive and kicking, it could be found at the 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Renowned marques such as Aston Martin, Lotus and Bentley, along with smaller-scale players such as Ginetta, Noble, Caparo and evergreen Morgan all put on a show, with the latter embarking on its second century as a manufacturer with its very latest product, the remarkable Aero SuperSports.
