Roger Wills brought the 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed to a close with an epic drive to claim Fastest Time of Day honours. The Moscow-based racer stormed his Williams-Cosworth FW05 up the hillclimb course in a time of 47.15-seconds. In second place, and no less committed, was double British Rally Champion Johnny Milner’s 50.00s time in his Toyota Celica sprint car. Likely contender Anthony Reid dropped out after spinning his Lola at the first corner while Justin Law was predictably awe-inspiring aboard the Don Law Racing Jaguar XJ220-based Transit van. Despite the clearly ‘buoyant’ suspension, this Q-commercial clocked a belief-beggaring time of one minute and one second… See you at the Goodwood Revival!
