Classic machinery ranging from pre-war two-stroke ‘smokers’ to the world’s most powerful MotoGP ’bike, the 2006 Ducati GP6, streaked up the ’climb with famous faces such as three-time World Champion Kenny Roberts and 19-time TT champion John McGuinness aboard them. Highlight for many was witnessing multiple world champion John Surtees riding a 1953 Norton and two-time Superbike World Champion James Toseland on a 1972 Harley-Davidson XRTT750.
