The Downs Course

The Downs course

Goodwood's challenging Downland course has been ranked by  prestigious sports title, Golf as one of the UK's Top 100 courses.

  • It has all that a golfer of any standard would need to maximise their handicap including a short game area, which has three teeing grounds, three bunkers and a putting green.  A warm up area for long game practise with seven bays, target flags at 100 yards, 200 yards, a 40 square feet utting green and an all weather undercover putting green at The Kennels opposite the Ralph Lauren at The Kennels shop.

The Park course

  • Five bays covered driving range and five bays uncovered.
  • A sloping lie teaching bay, target flags 100 yards 150 yards 200 yards.
  • Putting green located adjacent to 18th green.
  • Science and Motion Putting facility (SAM) located inside academy building, short game area located next to range.

The Goodwood service

  • Covering both courses we have 45 unique Woody buggies and 4 Yamaha buggies.
  • A drinks/snacks buggy services
    The Park Course.
  • Between both courses there are
    30 pull trolleys.
  • External shoes cleaning services on
    both courses.
  • Callaway clubs are available for hire again covering both sites.
Locker Rooms

The Kennels

  • 108 lockers in both ladies and Gentlemen's locker rooms, constructed of chocolate walnut timber key operation system.
  • Four showers made from Italian marble and four hand basins. 
  • Shoes cleaning service provided 

THE Park

  • 38 Gentlemen's lockers, two showers.
  • 28 Ladies Lockers, two showers.

Golf hosts

There are three located at the Park Course and four located at The Downs with an additional golf operations supervisor.

Course marshall

We have two course marshalls to ensure continuous pace of play.
