The Rainbow Centre project
On Maundy Thursday (5th April) a team of volunteers from across Goodwood helped redecorate the entrance hall and foyer at the Rainbow Centre in Fareham. The Rainbow Centre is a charity that inspires and supports children with Cerebral Palsy and adults who have suffered from a stroke, MS and Parkinson’s disease and their families. Through a system of learning called Conductive Education they encourage and teach children/participants to take an active role in their own development.
The One Goodwood initiative is a way of bringing all the different elements of the Goodwood business together and includes charity team building days and social events. For the painting project, participants came from the Farm Shop, Curatorial, Estate Office, People and Development, Finance, Hospitality, Client Services and the Repairs and Maintenance departments.
