Visiting Goodwood House
Nestled in the spectacular Sussex countryside, surrounded by mature parklands, and home to the Dukes of Richmond for centuries, Goodwood House combines the glamour of a great English country house with the warmth of a family home. No good day out is ever complete without enjoying a delicious cream tea. Teas are served in the magnificent Ballroom, open from 2pm – 4.30pm on Open Days for visitors taking a tour of the House. For further details see Prices.
Booking a Visit
Individuals do not need to book in advance, so you can simply drop by on one of your days out in West Sussex. You are welcome to call the Information Line on 01243-755040 before visiting for details of occasional closures, and alterations to opening times.
Pre-booked groups are welcome with a minimum of 20 people. Advance notice required. In the first instance, please contact Jane Bartholomew, Curator’s Secretary, on 01243-755048 to arrange the day and time of your choice. For further information please see Group Visits.
