Sometimes just the thought of getting fit, improving our general health or losing weight seems too difficult to contemplate..  Where to start? What kind of fitness training to take up? What to wear, who to go with and how to keep it going once you’ve taken the plunge are questions which stop us making a start.

But improving your fitness can make a huge difference to your general feeling of well-being – you sleep better, feel more positive and optimistic and even begin to look forward to your sessions at the health club.  Here at Goodwood health club, we understand how difficult it can be to begin a fitness regime, that’s why we have a friendly team of fully qualified trainers who can help you work out what’s going to work best for you given your existing fitness level, your other commitments and your past experiences.  They work with you every step of the way using a mixture of cardio and weight equipment in our fully air conditioned state of the art gym.  Or, they can recommend one of our fifty classes or show you how to get the best out of your time in the pool.

Everyone has to start somewhere, and who better than Goodwood to get you underway and stay with you as you begin to see the benefits of your efforts?

And, if you’d rather take your exercise outside, we have tennis courts and a tennis coach to work with you or you can join our power walking group who stride out every Sunday morning, whatever the weather.  We even have running sessions that take you around the beautiful Goodwood estate on Wednesdays and also on Saturdays.  Finally, our superb Parkland golf course is the perfect all round workout for all ages.
