August Bank Holiday Weekend
Three Fun-Filled Days of Racing & Entertainment at Goodwood Racecourse’s 1950s-themed August Bank Holiday Weekend.
Three Friday Nights, Rudimental
For Three Friday Nights in May/June Goodwood Racecourse is transformed from a serene Racecourse into an open-air music event, featuring some of the world’s top DJ’s.
On 31 May we welcomed Rudimental to the decks who performed an energetic 90 minute set to a sell-out crowd.
The Season Begins
Just ahead of Opening Saturday Racing UK came down to the racecourse to interview our MD, Adam Waterworth. They discussed what we can expect from our opening fixture and also what improvements have been made to the racecourse facilities for both members and non-members.
GROG Open Morning
GROG members were invited to watch Goodwood Mirage & Goodwood Storm take to the gallops for some pre-season training with their trainer, William Knight. The wet weather at Angmering Park did nothing to dampen spirits with both horses showing great promise for the season ahead.

Chris Evans Three Friday Nights
The second of our Three Friday Nights was Chris Evans who took to the decks after another evening of superb racing action on Friday 10th June.
An award-winning radio personality and former Big Breakfast presenter, Chris Evans is a huge fan of Goodwood and has been a frequent visitor to the historic motor circuit and the racecourse. A self-confessed petrolhead, Chris joined forces with Goodwood, for his annual Children In Need auction, to offer Radio 2 listeners the chance to bid to drive the famous hillclimb at the Festival of Speed.
The Artemis Goodwood Cup

Sara Cox: From disc to horse jockey
Dainty DJ and broadcaster Sara Cox may not be the first name that comes to mind when thinking of potential jockeys, but the plucky Boltonian is learning to race a thoroughbred for charity at the Telegraph sponsored Glorious Goodwood.
Three Friday Nights: Mark Ronson
Mark Ronson‘s spinning skills, which have made him a favourite among the inner circle of Hollywood’s elite, ensured that the Three Friday Nights Finale went out with a bang!
A Grammy and Brit award winner, Mark Ronson is internationally renowned as one of the worlds finest DJs. Mark released his own massively acclaimed debut solo album 'Here Comes The Fuzz' in 2003. Using his own unique re-interpretive style, Mark has set out to demonstrate pop voyeurism and experimentalism are not alien forms. His latest album, 'Version', sees him joined by an array of singers; including the irrepressible musical talents of Dirt McGirt with his version of Britney's 'Toxic', Robbie Williams nailing The Charlatans' seminal 'Only One I Know' as if it was his own, in fact making it his own, and then there is his friend Lily Allen on a phenomenal interpolation of The Kaiser Chiefs 'Oh My God'.
