Boy George has sold in excess of 100 million singles and 50 million albums worldwide, both as a performer and songwriter with 80’s super group Culture Club, solo artist and as one of the world's most successful international DJs. Recent times have seen George work with artists as varied as Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt (Miike Snow) and Sharlene Hector (Bassment Jaxx fame), release his first artist album in 10 years titled ‘Ordinary Alien’ and unveil a new record label called VG Records. 2011 also saw him announce that there will be a reunion tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Culture Club.

Chris Evans

The second of our Three Friday Nights was Chris Evans, an award-winning radio personality and former Big Breakfast presenter, who took to the decks after another evening of superb racing action on Friday 10th June.

Chris Evans is a huge fan of Goodwood and has been a frequent visitor to the historic motor circuit and the racecourse. A self-confessed petrolhead, Chris joined forces with Goodwood, for his annual Children In Need auction, to offer Radio 2 listeners the chance to bid to drive the famous hillclimb at the Festival of Speed.

Mark Ronson

Mark Ronson's spinning skills, which have made him a favourite among the inner circle of Hollywood’s elite, ensured that the Three Friday Nights Finale on Friday 17th June 2011 went out with a bang!

A Grammy and Brit award winner, Mark Ronson is internationally renowned as one of the worlds finest DJs. Mark released his own massively acclaimed debut solo album 'Here Comes The Fuzz' in 2003. Using his own unique re-interpretive style, Mark has set out to demonstrate pop voyeurism and experimentalism are not alien forms. His latest album, 'Version', sees him joined by an array of singers; including the irrepressible musical talents of Dirt McGirt with his version of Britney's 'Toxic', Robbie Williams nailing The Charlatans' seminal 'Only One I Know' as if it was his own, in fact making it his own, and then there is his friend Lily Allen on a phenomenal interpolation of The Kaiser Chiefs’ 'Oh My God'.
