Sumptuous food and fine wines are, for many, two of life's greatest pleasures and they are certainly a major part of the Goodwood experience. Chef Lee Butler is charged with creating menus as inventive and exquisite as you could hope to find anywhere in the world.

Food for a thousand, or food for a few, this is Goodwood's flexibility and skill. Only the very best ingredients are used, freshly cooked to attain perfection in quality, taste, colour and presentation.

Menu suggestion

Croustade of Crab on a bed of samphire and leeks, shellfish juices flavoured with cardamon.

Breast of Gressingham Duck with confit leg scented with Chinese spices and root vegetables caramelised in lavender honey, peppery white port sauce.

Baked Chocolate fondant with Grand Marnier ice cream.

Crispy Duck scented with Chinese spices on a salad of puy lentil & frisée lettuce, warm soy dressing with coriander & chilli.

Fillet of Beef with a truffle potato timbale braised oxtail, confit of garlic, Cabernet Sauvignon sauce.

Cider Apple and Blueberry Mousse enriched with white chocolate.

Salad of Herb Baked Goats Cheese with avocado, crisp bacon and toasted hazelnuts.

Fillets of Lemon Sole and Smoked Salmon wrapped in lettuce and baked with a lobster veloté.

Char-grilled asparagus and saffron new potatoes with chopped dill.

Sticky Toffee Pudding with clotted cream.
