Opening Times for 2008
Goodwood House is open from 1-5pm most Sundays and Mondays from 23 March – 6- October. Usually open by guided tour only but occasionally stewarded by knowledgeable guides. From 3-31 August, open five days a week: stewarded on Sundays and Mondays; guided tours Tuesday to Thursday. Guided tours lasting approximately one hour commence at 1.20pm, 2.15pm, 2.45pm (extended tour one and a half hours), 3.15pm and 4pm (last entry). Goodwood reserves the right to alter the opening dates and times without prior notice. Please always check Recorded Information on 01243 755040 before visiting for up to date details of occasional closures and changes to opening times.

Occasional Closures
The House is closed to the public as a result of special events on the following dates: 18 May; 6, 7, 13, 14 July; 21, September. Occasionally, the Trustees have to add extra dates for closures, so if you are travelling from a distance, always check with Recorded Information on +44 (0)1243 755040 before your visit.

Booking a Visit
Individuals do not need to book in advance.

Groups
Pre-booked groups are welcome with a minimum of 20 people. Advance notice required. In the first instance, please contact the Curator’s PA to arrange the day and time of your choice. For further information please see Group Visits.

Catering
The House tea room is open from 2pm – 4.30pm. A delicious selection of cakes and cream teas are served subject to availability. Groups wishing to have afternoon tea must book in advance as space is limited. Lunches and light refreshments may be obtained from nearby pubs on the Goodwood Estate or at the Goodwood Motor Circuit. A full list of catering establishments may be obtained from the Curator’s Assistant.
