Golf at Goodwood
Redefining the Way You Play the Game
Golf membership at Goodwood is unlike any other golf club in that it is totally flexible and open to all whether you’re looking for occasional rounds of golf or want to commit to full membership, we have a scheme for you. Perhaps you would like to play at Goodwood with your colleagues or clients without the fuss of having to become a member? Again, we can accommodate you.
A massive investment spent over recent years has resulted in two outstanding golf courses on the 12,000 acre Goodwood estate. Matched by equally impressive clubhouse facilities in The Kennels, there’s really no better place to play the game you love.
The Park Course
The Park course, which winds its way around Goodwood’s stunning parkland, is our pay and play course. Designed by renowned architect, Donald Steel the course extends from the back tees to 6,650 yards, yet remains an easy course to walk whatever your age or degree of fitness. Despite that, it still presents some interesting challenges, not least many of the course’s small and tightly guarded greens.

The Downs Course
The Downs course, designed in 1914 by James Braid, our unique membership course is truly breathtaking – in many ways! The course is often referred to as ‘the best Downland course in the UK’ and the combination of its trademark dog legs together with glimpses of Chichester Cathedral and the sparkling Solent in the distance is enough to gladden the soul.

The Kennels Clubhouse
The Kennels, golf at Goodwood’s wonderful clubhouse is the perfect place to relax either before or after your round. With its superb dark walnut bar, flat screen televisions and the day’s newspapers, you can catch up with your friends over a bacon sandwich or light bite for lunch. Upstairs, the excellent locker rooms provide you with power showers, fluffy robes, towels, hairdryers and a valet to take care of your shoes whilst you’re out on the course. On your return, you could sink into one of our squashy sofas in front of the fire for afternoon tea, or, in the summer, sit out and sunbathe on our stone flagged terraces. You can book a table for lunch or dinner in our gorgeous dining room and even hire our private dining area for special celebrations.
