50 Jaguars at Goodwood

Jaguar Cars mark 50 years of its iconic E-Type by visiting Goodwood

Today 50 Jaguar| E-Types took on the famous Goodwood Festival of Speed hillclimb. This magnificent fleet of cars left Coventry on Sunday and drove to Castle Combe where they stayed on Sunday night and then made their way down to Goodwood on Monday, for a dinner in Goodwood House and a stay in the Goodwood Hotel.  Leaving this morning, the Jaguar drivers first drove up the Goodwood hillclimb before leaving for the Channel Tunnel.  Once the drivers arrive in France, they will drive through Reims and Dijon with the cars final destination being Switzerland for the Geneva Motor Show.

This forms part of their European rally celebrating the Jaguar Heritage| E-Type 50th Anniversary.

Jaguar| are going to be a very important part of both of Goodwood’s motor sport events this year, both at the Festival of Speed with a special class of Jaguars running up the hill and at the Revival where we will hold an E-Type Jaguar race.  Jaguar has an amazing history here at Goodwood and has a wonderful heritage to celebrate.
