Can I buy a ticket on the day

Answer:: Entry is by advance ticket only. It is not possible to buy ticket(s) on the day, and there will be no admission without a ticket.

Can children get in for free

Answer:: Children under 12 always go free at Goodwood and do not need an entry ticket.

Where do I park at Revival

Answer:: Parking at the Revival is free and open from 07:00hrs each day. All car parking is on grassland. Hard standing for motorcycle parking is available in all car parks - helmet storage is also available. Parking on approach roads at any time will not be permitted. Courtesy vehicles will be on hand in the car park to give assistance to those unable to walk to the event entrances. Overnight parking/camping will not be permitted in any car park. For those eligible for Reserved Parking; parking labels must be displayed when approaching Goodwood. Please follow traffic signs to corresponding car park.

How do I get into the Revival Car Show

Answer:: Access to the reserved and exclusive Revival Car Show is available to those cars holding a Road Fund Exempt Historic tax disc.

What are the opening hours

Answer:

The action on the circuit commences at 08:45hrs on each day of the event. Gates open at 07:00hrs, which provides a great opportunity to look around the paddocks before the action begins.

Car parks are free and open at 06:30hrs.

Is official practice day, with drivers and riders competing for the best positions on the starting grids for the races to come. Lap after lap, cars and motorcycles will be taken to the limit in search of those final few tenths of a second that will decide who starts at the front. There is also the annual

Bonhams sale of priceless historic cars and motor racing memorabilia.

SATURDAY

Sees the racing get underway with the drivers and riders jousting for those much-coveted Goodwood trophies and the honour of being a Goodwood winner. Highlights of the programme will be the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy race for motorcycles, the hugely popular St Mary’s Trophy for saloon cars and the post-war Grand Prix cars fighting for grip as they battle for the Goodwood Trophy. Saturday is also Ladies’ Day where the most spectacular frocks are on show.

SUNDAY

Features what, for many fans, is the highlight of the weekend’s racing, the Royal Automobile Club TT Celebration race for some of the world’s most valuable racing cars. These are the beautiful GT cars that, in days gone by, contested the famous Tourist Trophy races. The motorcycles are back out again too, as are the saloon cars, as well as a mouth-watering array of historic Formula One cars and sports cars of the 1950s and 1960s in an action-packed programme of wheel to wheel racing. In the air, as ever, will be the Spitfires and Hurricanes that flew from Goodwood to fight the Battle of Britain. The day culminates in the Prize Giving ceremony where Lord March awards his much-coveted prizes and medals. Memories are made of this.

Where do I view the action

VIEWING THE ACTION

Trackside viewing is available around the perimeter of the motor circuit, and there are giant screens at several locations showing the on-track action.

GRANDSTANDS

You may prefer to purchase a grandstand tickets can be purchased with your admission ticket. Children aged 12 years and under do not need an admission ticket but will need to purchase a grandstand ticket.

The Startline, Chicane (Members Only) and Woodcote Grandstands are all allocated seats. The Lavant Corners and Lavant Straight grandstands are roving, meaning that grandstand ticket holders are able to sit in any available seat in any grandstand.

Can I get a programme

Answer:

All of the vehicles competing at the Revival are carefully selected to highlight the chosen theme of the event.

The programme explains their unique histories and the fascinating reasons why they have been chosen to compete. It’s the best way to get the full picture and find out about the other must see attractions at the event.

Programmes are only available at the event and make a fabulous souvenir. The price includes a free event radio, which is tuned to the Revival’s dedicated station, Radio Goodwood, on 87.7fm.

What is the dress code

Answer:

Although not compulsory, the vast majority of Revival visitors dress in period style with many going to great lengths to achieve that authentic look. The resulting step-back-in-time spectacle plays a key role in making the Revival such a unique event.

While you're not required to dress up (unless you qualify for central Paddock access, in which a jacket and tie is necessary for gentlemen, and a dress or suit for the ladies), you’ll feel much more involved if you do. And whether you go for the slick urban look, gentrified country style or chocs-away military look, it’s not difficult or costly to dress appropriately.

What is the provision for disabled visitors

Answer:

Those visitors displaying a Registered Disabled car badge will be directed to a dedicated parking area, from which a shuttle service to the event will operate. There are dedicated raised viewing platforms for those in wheelchairs. Disabled toilets are also available. Electric scooter chairs are available for hire from Shopmobility – it is essential to pre-book with Shopmobility on +44 (0)2392 455444.

Are there Crèche facilities

Answer:: Crèche facilities are available near the Supershell Lawn behind the Woodcote Grandstand for children aged 8 years and under. Children may be left with qualified carers for a period of one hour for a small charge. Pushchairs may also be left at the Crèche.

What is the medical provision

Answer:: There is an on-site pharmacy providing medicines, toiletries, suntan lotion, earplugs and sunglasses, located behind the Chicane Grandstand close to the Revival Market. There are also numerous first aid sites located around the Revival site staffed by qualified doctors and medical staff.

Should I bring ear protection

Answer:: Due to the nature of the event, visitors can expect to experience a certain level of noise from the vehicles taking part. Ear defenders (available at the Goodwood Shops on-site) will enable all visitors, especially children, to get closer to the action without feeling uncomfortable.
