At last weekend’s 2011 Goodwood Revival, visitors to the annual concours d’elegance, held within Earls Court, were invited to vote for ‘the most beautiful car in the world’ from a varied display of over 20 cars spanning the automotive decades, from the 1930s up to the present day. With over 10,000 votes placed, the beautiful car most voted for by Revival spectators was the spectacular 1937 Bugatti Type 57SC Atalante, owned by William Ainscough. Second was the 1961 Jaguar E-type, with the 1968 Lamborghini Miura voted in third.
