Familiar Family Favourites at Revival
Tesco to Revive Familiar Family Favourites at the 2011 Goodwood Revival
Following the huge popularity of the early 1960s Tesco store recreation at last year’s Goodwood Revival, the 1,700 square foot supermarket will be open again for business every day at next week’s Revival (16-18 September) from 7.30am to 6.00pm, located on the High Street.
In addition to shelves stacked high with dozens of familiar groceries, especially created in their packaging of the Revival era, Tesco visitors at Goodwood will also be able to purchase authentically-packaged family favourites, including Marmite, Dairy Milk, cream soda, Tunnocks’ tea cakes, Double Diamond beer, salt ‘n’ shake crisps and Warbuton’s rolls.
Revival fans with a sweet tooth are bound to enjoy the re-introduction of Marathon bars (more commonly known as Snickers today), Treets (now called Revels) and Opal Fruits (Starbursts), all reproduced specifically for the Goodwood Revival.
