Ford of Great Britain’s centenary year
The 2011 Goodwood Revival is honouring Ford of Great Britain’s centenary year with a daily cavalcade of British-made Fords. 100 cars and commercials took to the circuit on Friday morning including such heartland fare as the Manchester-made Model T and Popular models and rarities such as the ex-Sir Stirling Moss Ogle Cortina and the Ginetta-converted Zodiac camper. In addition to road going machinery, Lotus Cortinas and Galaxies will be competing for victory in the St Mary’s Trophy for 1960s saloon cars this weekend.
