Freddie March Spirit of Aviation
A mouth-watering display of airborne classics
The ever-popular Freddie March Spirit of Aviation concours returns this weekend with a mouth-watering display of airborne classics. Among them are legendary aircraft such as the de Havilland Gipsy Moth along with such obscurities as the 1200cc Rollason Druine Turbulent and pintsized Taylor Titch aerobatic ’plane.
Judges this year include Air Commodore John Langston CBE, flight engineer of the legendary 617 Squadron ‘Dambusters’ mission, and Aeroplane magazine editor Jarrod Cotter. The concours winners will be announced on Sunday.
