HAWKER FURY WINS THE FREDDIE MARCH SPIRIT OF AVIATION AT THE 2011 GOODWOOD REVIVAL

An expert panel of judges at this year’s 2011 Goodwood Revival voted the 1935 Hawker Fury Mk 1 bi-plane, recently restored by Retrotec, as the overall winner of this year’s Freddie March Spirit of Aviation concours d’elegance for pre-1966 aircraft.

Second place was awarded to the 1960 de Havilland Beaver restored by The Aircraft Restoration Company with the 1943 Fairey Swordfish, owned and operated by Royal Navy Historic Flight, coming third.
