Official Goodwood Revival Charity 2011

Hope for Tomorrow is Announced as the Official 2011 Goodwood Revival Charity

Funds raised at this year’s Goodwood Revival will go to ‘Hope for Tomorrow’, a national cancer charity operating a Mobile Chemotherapy Unit to benefit patients in the South and surrounding regions.

Owned and maintained by the charity and operated by highly trained NHS staff, these well-equipped mobile units allow cancer patients to receive treatment in a restful environment closer to home, saving stressful long distance travel and minimising waiting times. Currently Mobile Chemotherapy Units are operating in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Somerset and soon, Wiltshire.

Three legends from the world of motor sport – Sir Stirling Moss OBE, Sir Jack Brabham OBE and Derek Bell MBE – are Patrons of this unique cancer charity.

At the Hope for Tomorrow airstream caravan at the Revival, Sir Stirling Moss will be signing a unique limited edition print which has been specially produced for the event, featuring his celebrated victory 50 years ago in the 1961 Tourist Trophy, driving the famous Rob Walker Ferrari 250 SWB.

At the Goodwood Revival, visitors will be able to view the Hope for Tomorrow’s Mobile Chemotherapy Unit and chat to the team.
