With two days still to go until the 2010 Goodwood Revival gets underway (17-19 September) this hugely popular historic motor racing event has already sold out on Saturday and Sunday, with no general admission tickets remaining for these days, and just a few available for Friday race practice.
The covered grandstand seating capacity has been extended for 2010 by over 700 seats, with all of these selling out last week, as have all of the camping slots. All the stalls in the Revival Market retail area were all snapped up by late March this year, so the popularity of the Goodwood Revival is unquestionably growing!
With a record attendance of more than 132,000 spectators over the three days of the Goodwood Revival last year, in March the event’s founder Lord March announced the bold decision to cap advanced ticket sales this year to around 128,000 spectators, to keep the event a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all Revival visitors.
Dates and advanced tickets for the 2011 Goodwood Revival, as well as the successful Goodwood Festival of Speed, will be announced shortly.
