The Real Stig to Race at the 2011 Goodwood Revival

The real, original, very first Stig is set to race at this year’s Goodwood Revival (16-18 September).  Swedish rally legend Stig Blomqvist will make his Goodwood motor circuit debut as he takes to the wheel of a 1962 two-stroke Saab 93 Sport, entered by fellow Swede Anders Jensen.  Ex-Saab Works rally legend Stig will drive in the ultra-competitive and highly entertaining St Mary’s Trophy race for saloon cars, which this year will all be from the 1960s, and will include firm favourites such as the huge Ford Galaxies, Lotus Cortinas, Jaguar Mark IIs and Mini Coopers, being campaigned by a raft of famous drivers.
