Two motorcycle races (1951-1954) in the spirit of the original Goodwood Saturday meeting
The Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy continued as a two-part, two-rider challenge in 2012, featuring bikes from the 1950s, including iconic names such as AJS, BMW, BSA, Matchless, Norton and Velocette. With one race on Saturday and another on Sunday, the result was decided by aggregate timing and each owner-rider was paired up with a professional racer, changing over in the pits around half distance.
