If your idea of a perfect wedding is a magical winter scene with a picturesque backdrop, Goodwood can make your dream come true. On selected dates in November and December 2012 and February and January 2013 we are offering half price venue hire across the Estate to bring your dream wedding to life.
Set within 12,000 acres of stunning Sussex countryside, the Goodwood Estate has four fabulous venues licensed for civil ceremonies:
Goodwood House
At the heart of the Goodwood Estate and located in stunning parkland, Goodwood’s great Regency house has been a wonderfully intimate and romantic setting for family celebrations and lavish parties for over 300 years. To this day, Goodwood House remains a family home but opens its doors for a small number of exclusive use weddings and celebrations. Filled with magnificent paintings and wonderful treasures, Goodwood House provides a spectacular surrounding both inside and out, perfect for those all important wedding photos and treasured memories.
The Goodwood Hotel
With 91 bedrooms and a history dating back to the 18th Century, The Goodwood Hotel is situated just half a mile from Goodwood House and can also be used for more informal ceremonies against the backdrop of the stunning Goodwood Estate. The newly refurbished Cedar Suite with its own private terrace ensures that the bridal couple and their guests feel totally secluded – a wonderfully intimate space where friends and family can celebrate in style.
Goodwood Racecourse
For something more unusual why not get married in style at our licenced venue overlooking the historic Goodwood Racecourse.
Goodwood Racecourse offers panoramic views of the course and beautiful South Downs beyond – a truly breathtaking winter wonderland setting.
The Kennels
Our exclusive private members’ club, The Kennels, will also open its doors to a limited number of weddings in 2012.
