Groove Armada Announced as Opening Act of ‘Three Friday Nights’
Goodwood Racecourse has today announced that Andy Cato, one half of popular electronic dance act, Groove Armada, will step on to the hallowed turf of Goodwood Racecourse’s Parade Ring to open Three Friday Nights - a vibrant combination of racing, music and dancing on the 8th, 15th and 22nd June.
Thousands of race-goers will flock to the Parade Ring after the horse racing for an evening filled with music and dancing at one of Britain’s most picturesque racecourses. Andy Cato, will open the Friday Race Nights on 8th June, followed by TV & radio presenter, Dermot O’Leary & The Streets' frontman, Mike Skinner on 15th and 22nd of June.
Andy Cato, one half of popular electronic music duo, will open the Friday Race Nights with a bang. Over the past decade, Groove Armada consisting of Andy Cato and Tom Findlay, have established themselves as one of the planet's most-loved and biggest selling dance acts storming the charts and headlining stages at some of the world's biggest festivals. In 2010, they redefined the Groove Armada sound with their 6th studio album, Black Light, and a year headlining festivals all over the world led to a Grammy nomination. Groove Armada whipped the 250,000 crowd into a frenzy at Fatboy Slim's infamous Brighton beach party and have played countless residencies in Ibiza.
