Titleist Junior Series

October saw the final two events of the Titleist Junior Series, on both The Downs and Park courses. The penultimate event was held on The Downs course, where 18 juniors participated, with four shooting under their handicap. Peter Thorne shot an outstanding 49 stableford points to win the competition, with Lucas Small also shooting an impressive 45 points.

The final event in the Titleist Junior Series was held on The Park course, where Wilf Walters shot a brilliant 43 points to win by one point over George McCallum. This event was the last time the players could gain Order of Merit points to qualify for the Junior Matchplay Championships, with the top 16 going through the event. Harry Naughton shot an impressive two under par to shoot 42 points.
